LYVIA KESSLER
Born in Transylvania. As a child immigrated to Israel, where she became a well known fashion model under the name of Lyvia Novi.
- 1970 - 1972
- studied "Sketching and Design" at the Los Angeles Technical College in California, U.S.A.
- 1974 – 1976
- studied drawing and painting at the "Volkhochschulle" in Bonn, Germany with the painting artist Manfred Weill.
- 1977
- took private painting lessons with the painter I. Ogen and participated in several painting workshops in Bonn, Germany.
- 1982
- from Europe Lyvia moved to Honolulu, Hawaii – where she also incorporated photography into her work.
- 1984
- returned to Israel, where she continued painting and joined the art group “Color in Nature”. In Israel Lyvia painted the covers of a few books, like "Many Ways to Fall in Love" ("Persona" Publishers, 1997).

PRIZES:
In 1972 one of her paintings presented in the Los Angeles Technical College exhibition was rewarded with The Special Award granted by the State of California.
Today Lyvia Kessler – mother of two – lives in Tel-Aviv.
She speaks Hebrew, English, German, Hungarian and Romanian fluently.
